In order to create a comfortable working environment for LGBTQ employees, we have established LGBTQ consultation desk and sequentially implemented human rights awareness programs to let employees understand more about LGBTQ since April 2018.
In line with our efforts to promote diversity and the globalization of our business, we are actively hiring foreign employees and helping them fulfil their potential. Besides, observing the immigration control regulation, such as the status of residence, we also provide appropriate support for cross-cultural communication and human relations which can assist our employees to adapt to the work in Japan. Today, many employees from China and Taiwan are active.
In order to empower women at the workplace, and to foster an environment where employees with children can also play an active role, we are working to improve the working environment through giving childcare leave and shorten working hours for childcare.
We conduct performance reviews twice a year. Also, a "self-check system" is established for the purpose for each employee to have the opportunities to demonstrate his or her abilities and makes the evaluations fairer.First, the employee evaluates his or her own work performance. In the second step, the supervisor evaluates the employee. The results from each evaluation step are discussed again between the employee and the supervisor. Through direct conversation, employees are able to understand their own achievements and challenges which ensures the transparency and fairness of the evaluations.
We provide a variety of training programs for all employees to support their growth and career development.
