Our company supports "COOL CHOICE*" (= wise choice), which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Environment, aiming at reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 26% by 2030.
Every year from May 1 to October 31, we implement the COOL BIZ movement as part of our efforts to reduce CO2 emissions. During this period, we encourage employees to change to smart casual wear such as polo shirts, instead of suits and neckties, so that they can stay comfortable as the temperature of air condition is kept at 28°C.
What is "COOL CHOICE*" (= wise choice)?
Japan government has set a goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 26% by 2030 (*compared to 2013). COOL CHOICE means the “wise choice” for achieving the goals mentioned above, including replacing products or service with those that has contribution in building a decarbonized society, and all the other methods that contribute to global warming prevention and lead to comfortable living.
